Ted and Nelson stay at Bob Fontaine's ranch. As the boys arrive, a plane crashes, and one occupant vanishes. Meanwhile, a mystery surrounds an old hermit, and footprints indicate that someone has been watching the ranch... An excellent entry in the series!
