Henry Charles Beeching (1859-1919) was an English author, poet and clergyman, who served as Canon of Westminster. Alexander Naire (1863-1936) was a clergyman and Professor of Hebrew in King's College, London. This series of sermons was given on the Fridays in Lent in 1906.
